“Here are some broad descriptions about the generation known as Millennials: They’re narcissistic. They’re lazy. They’re coddled. They’re even a bit delusional.
Those aren’t just unfounded negative stereotypes about 80 million Americans born roughly between 1980 and 2000. They’re backed up by a decade of sociological research. The National Institutes of Health found that for people in their 20s, Narcissistic Personality Disorder is three times as high than the generation that’s 65 or older. In 1992, 80 percent of people under 23 wanted to one day have a job with greater responsibility; ten years later, 60 percent did. Millennials received so many participation trophies growing up that 40 percent of them think they should be promoted every two years – regardless of performance. They’re so hopeful about the future you might think they hadn’t heard of something called the Great Recession.”
The Me Generation
Well, they’re right about the “save us all” part, anyway.
You all need to eat some shit.
The few of us lucky enough to be able to go home are doing so because we can’t find jobs and are drowning in debt. People don’t want jobs with more responsibility because they don’t actually entail more benefits anymore, since wages have been stagnating and even dropping since fucks like you were kids in the 70s and 80s.
What do you even mean by a promotion? A raise in pay? Maybe that’s because they want to keep up with inflation, something wages haven’t and won’t do so long as capitalism requires a race to the bottom in order to keep profits high.
Wall St is doing just fine while the rest of us suffer. Clearly your kids are just selfish dicks, and they’ll fix everything just like the baby boomers.
^ I really don’t get this logic. It’s ill-defined, illogical hate. “People don’t want jobs.” Why the fuck wouldn’t someone want a job in general? What makes you think wages are stagnant? Can you prove wages are indeed stagnant? What do you think the problem is? How are you going to fix it?
You don’t have an answer. So by all means, please keep blaming the wealthy who, despite popular opinion, actually worked to their state of living.
You may want to try reading what I said and/or keeping up with economic reports before you run your mouth.
Working doesn’t guarantee wealth and your gross implication that the poor just don’t work hard enough shows exactly how delusional you are. Nearly everyone in poverty works exponentially harder than you might even dream possible. This isn’t about being a hater, you goddamn nerd. The fix is destruction of wage labor and capitalism. We know what we want.
I really don’t think you understand where I’m coming from since I never did state that the poor don’t work hard enough, I really don’t think you understand why there are economical recessions, I really don’t think you understand that without wage labor there is no incentive and any system that lessens it or has abolished it has failed, and I REALLY don’t think you understand a lick about Capitalism.
This isn’t even about being a hater, you goddamn ignoramus. If you don’t want to play capitalism, please leave the country.
You just said that rich people “actually worked to their state of living”. The implication is that amount of work done is a deciding factor, when it actually isn’t for the individual doing the work - that’s called wage labor and surplus value. If you seriously think that wage labor is the incentive, then all I can say is that you’re a sad, pathetic human and I hope you find some meaning in your life. I have incentives that don’t involve allowing someone to live high on the hog by exploiting my labor, and fun fact - it’s not the poor that are the leeches on society.
I understand capitalism quite well, and I like where I live. So I don’t think I’ll be leaving. Instead, I’ll work to change what I think is wrong. I guess that’s the anti-American in me, though, taking initiative instead of telling people to piss off when I don’t like how they challenge the status quo.
Have a terrible day.
Soooooooo what do you suppose people get paid for? Equal pay for all? No matter the work?
And of course the amount of work is a deciding factor! That’s the whole point of Capitalism! Work more; Get paid more. I don’t understand it - I DON’T understand why people like you make enemies out of the rich.
So I guess I’ll go on being rich - because I am. And I’ll continue to be rich - because I work. I’ll have a terrific day. Because fuck you.
Nice strawman.
People should be paid based on the work they do. CEOs of Wall St firms should be the ones on the streets, not the destitute mothers scraping by with three jobs. Finance capital is the last refuge of a dying system, desperately trying to tear at whatever scraps of paper they can get so that they can hoard it for no reason other than to hoard it. You are the scum of the earth and if you seriously aspire to large material wealth that, by the nature of the system of capitalism, absolutely requires poverty and exploitation, you can go ahead and shove it up your ass so far you taste shit.
So you’re not against capitalism, not against pay labor, and not against those who want to work. You’re just an angry little shit that hates people more fortunate than you. And quite possibly,

Don’t even start appealing to pity. Don’t even start appealing to emotion. If you really think it’s Wall Street that’s the sole perpetrator of whatever problem - you name it - you have another thing coming. I mean, it could actually turn out that I agree with you on a lot of things, but your hatred is misled. Go be angry somewhere else. I’m done.
I’m glad you’re done, because you are an actual pile of steaming dog shit if you can’t comprehend what I’ve said.
How the everloving fuck do you read what I’ve said and take away from it that I’m not against capitalism? Oh right, probably because you’re under some dumb illusion that socialism means no one works and everyone starves to death because they don’t have incentives! Well guess what? I’m for full employment. I’m for everyone actually working. That’s not something that happens under capitalism and that is by fucking design. Unemployment is one of the main methods used by the bourgeoisie to keep wages low.
The problem is imperialist endeavors overseas for cheap labor. The problem is finance capital creating value out of nothing. The problem is also you using a gif of Robert Downey Jr in blackface. Most of all, the problem is capitalism.
Oh, and for a point of reference, I’m graduating from NYU with little student debt and a job. So sorry to see that you think only the poor and unemployed might be against the system that works so well for me and you, you myopic self-combusting infant turd.
BOOM. DESTROYED.
